Day 1 - 2 Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Experience a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi and see India’s largest mosque of Jama Masjid. Drive past Red Fort to New Delhi, visit World Heritage listed Humayun’s Tomb and take a photo stop at India Gate and Parliament Building. Explore Delhi’s local social hub of Connaught Place and indulge in a local specialty dinner. (1B/1D)

Day 3 Jaipur
Fly to Jaipur. See the beautiful Palace of Winds and take a photo stop at the charming Lake Palace before riding an elephant to Amber Fort to explore its magnificent interior with exquisite art and craftsmanship on the walls and ceilings. Explore local markets for souvenirs and handicrafts. (1B)

Day 4 - 5 Agra
Enjoy the countryside scenery while driving to Agra. Visit Fatehpur Sikri to see fascinating architectural details of the Mughal Empire. The next morning go to the magnificent Taj Mahal, marvel at its beauty, brilliance and exquisite craftsmanship as you bask in a spectacular sunrise. Visit the vast Red Fort and see craftsmen in action at a marble inlay workshop. Sample a local specialty dinner then experience a comfortable overnight train to Varanasi. (2B/1D)

Day 6 - 7 Varanasi
Arrive at the ancient holy city of Varanasi and transfer to your hotel. Visit the spiritual Sarnath, the place of the Buddha’s first sermon and watch people performing their rituals. Explore the incense-filled laneways of Varanasi and observe ancient traditions near the sacred Ganges River. Enjoy a morning cruise and witness temples bathed in soft light with locals washing clothes, practicing yoga and taking a spiritual dip in the river. Fly to Kathmandu - the capital of Nepal. (2B)

Day 8 Bhaktapur
Drive to the city of architecture and fine arts – Patan, explore the historic Durbar Square, immerse yourself in Nepalese culture and history. Observe the hand-weaving of carpets at Tibetan Handicraft Centre. Visit Bhaktpur, a World Heritage listed medieval city before transferring to Nagarkot for a panoramic view of Mount Everest and the Himalayan Ranges. (B)

Day 9 - 10 Kathmandu
Watch the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Everest and other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Drive back to Kathmandu to enjoy the serene and tranquil atmosphere at Boudhanath Temple, where the world’s largest stupa is sited. Visit Nepal’s most sacred Hindu Pashupatinath Temple, see the magnificent view of the entire Kathmandu Valley at Swayambhunath Temple and feel the religious harmony between Buddhists and Hindus. Visit the Royal Palace, stroll around Durbar Square which is surrounded by temples and shrines in woodcarved architecture. Enjoy an evening dinner with a Nepalese cultural show.
