Day 1 Delhi
Arriving in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2 Delhi
Visit India’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, and ride a rickshaw through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. Driving past Red Fort to New Delhi, you’ll see Humayun’s Tomb which has been listed as a World Heritage Site. Take some family photos at India Gate and Parliament Building and explore Connaught Place, Delhi’s local social hub. Indulge in a local specialty dinner in the evening as part of your private tour. Day 3 Delhi / Varanasi
Travel to Varanasi, one of the world’s oldest cities and holiest sites. Observe a sunset Hindu Aarthi ceremony on the banks of the Mother Ganges before visiting Sarnath, the ancient birthplace of Buddhism. Rise at dawn to see pilgrims washing themselves in Varanasi’s holy river before exploring the narrow lanes of the old town where you will see a fascinating mix of Varanasi’s colourful sadhus, holy men, and pilgrims. Day 4 Varanasi / Khajurho
Take an early morning boat ride along the river Ghats and observe the morning rituals and offerings to the first rays of the rising sun. Later, travel to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho, home to the world’s finest temple art. (B)

Day 5 Khajurho / Agra
Explore the Eastern and Western group of the Chandela Temples built between 950 and 1050 AD and famous for their intricate and erotic carvings. Board the Shatabdi Express train to Agra in the afternoon. (B)

Day 6 Agra / Jaipur
In Agra, bask in a magnificent sunrise at the Taj Mahal and marvel at the Taj Mahal’s brilliance and exquisite craftsmanship. After breakfast at the hotel, head to the “Pink City” of Jaipur, passing through Fathpur Sikri, the former capital of the Mughal Empire. (B)

Day 7 Jaipur
In Jaipur, visit the Palace of Winds, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Go on an elephant ride to Amber Fort to explore its magnificent interior and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. Go shopping for some of Jaipur’s famous handicrafts or explore the local streets. (B)

Day 8 Jaipur / Pushkar
Enjoy a relaxing drive to the holy city of Pushkar. Visit the unique Brahma Temple and stroll along Pushkar Lake, the venue of Pushkar’s famous annual camel fair. (B)

Day 9 Pushkar / Jodhpur
Travel to India’s “blue city”, Jodhpur. Arriving at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day to spend at your own leisure. (B)

Day 10 Jodhpur
Visit one of India’s most majestic forts, Mehrangarh Fort, which boasts stunning views of the city. Tour Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace and its museum before hopping on a jeep safari to Bishnoi Village where you will meet friendly local villagers and farmers. (B)

Day 11 Jodhpur / Udaipur
Travel to Udaipur, India’s most romantic city, and visit Ranakpur Jain Temple along the way. (B)

Day 12 Udaipur
Go on an escorted tour to explore the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, the Lakeside City Palace and Museum, with its many balconies and towers. Tour the Jagdish Temple and view the magnificent Indo-Aryan carvings before exploring the beautiful Garden of the Maids of Honour. Your day will end with a relaxing sunset cruise on the Lake Pichola and a local specialty dinner. (B/D)

Day 13 Udaipur
Spend some time at your own leisure in Udaipur before transferring to the airport for your flight to the next destination. (B)
