This fabulous tour showcases Vietnam’s beautiful landscape, rich history, diversity culture and welcoming people. Start in bustling Saigon with contrasting experience at tranquil waterways of Mekong Delta, discover the fascinating town of Dalat in the Central Highlands, relax in beachside city Nha Trang, scenic coastal drive to charming Hoi An and imperial city of Hue, finish in the capital city of Hoi An with an overnight boat cruise at the stunning Halong Bay.

Day 1 - 2 Ho Chi Minh City / Mekong Delta
Upon arrival, transferred to your hotel. The Next day explore Saigon’s famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing underground network of tunnels which stretches over hundreds of kilometres. You have the opportunity to crawl in tunnels and learn how locals built underground hospitals, kitchens and meeting rooms during the war. Enjoy a walking tour of Saigon’s historic Dong Khoi Street, visit the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and historical Central Post Office. Enjoy a dinner cruise along the Saigon River. Day 3 Mekong Delta
Explore the lush countryside of the Mekong Delta, the “rice bowl” of Vietnam. Cruising through the canals, rivers and backwaters, you’ll learn about the daily lives of the local people. Taste exotic fruits along the way, sample a Mekong specialty lunch, walk on the island’s trails and go on a sampan ride through some of the small creeks and canals. (B/L)

Day 4 - 5 Dalat
Take a morning flight to Dalat. It is a charming hill station and a stepping stone to the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Take a cable ride over the pine forest and valleys to the top of mountain, feast your eyes with spectacular views of Dalat, visit the minorities village and wonder through the local markets. The next morning see Dalat’s architecture of the ‘French Quarter’ and Bao Dai’s Summer Palace before a scenic drive through villages and tea plantations on the way to the coastal town of Nha Trang. Day 6 - 7 Nha Trang / Quy Nhon
Enjoy a boat trip to the nearby islands off Nha Trang. Visit one of fishing villages, you will have an opportunity to swim or snorkel, indulge in a sumptuous seafood feast and enjoy your own leisure time on the beach. The next day travel through some spectacular coastal scenery to the interesting port town of Quy Nhon where you will watch the fishermen leaving shore in round basket boats. Stroll along the beach and meet friendly local people at the central market. (2B/1L/1D)

Day 8 - 9 Hoi An
Continually drive to the charming ancient harbour town of Hoi An with a stop at the moving My Lai Memorial. Take a walking tour of ancient merchants’ houses, a Hokkien Temple, a Japanese Covered Bridge and colourful riverside markets. Spend your free time to sit back at a local cafe, hire a bike to see local streets or buy some handmade clothes. (2B/1D)

Day 10 - 11 Hue
Enjoy some leisure time before taking a scenic drive over the stunning Hai Van Pass to the imperial city of Hue. Feast your eyes on spectacular coastal scenery and stop by gorgeous Marble Mountain. The next day, experience a cyclo ride to the Imperial Walled Citadel then take a cruise on the romantic Perfume River to the iconic Thien Mu pagoda before visiting the ornate Imperial Tombs. In the evening, sample a local specialty for dinner. (2B/1D)

Day 12 Hoi An
Fly to Hanoi, take walking tour from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to his former home - the House of Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Explore the fascinating Old Quarter where ancient homes and temples are interspersed with traditional stores. Enjoy local cuisine and an evening water puppet performance. (1B/1D)

Day 13 - 15 Halong Bay
Sit back and enjoy your first view of the northern countryside as we drive to Halong Bay - one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. Sail among thousands of limestone islands rising mystically from the water. Explore caves, swim or relax on the beach. The next morning enjoy a relaxing sail on the bay then change to a wooden boat to look at some grottoes and even spot monkeys! After lunch, relax on the drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. The tour ends with a transfer to the airport on Day 15. (3B/2L/1D)
