Day 1 - 3 Lhasa
Arrive Lhasa on the first day, transfer to the hotel. In the next two days, Visit the world-famous architectural wonder – the Potala Palace. This spectacular Palace towers over the entire mountain and the lake below is simply gorgeous. This is where the Dalai Lama spent his winters. Visit the Jokhang Temple, which is known as the most sacred place in Tibet – thousands of Pilgrims from all over Tibet come here to pay homage. Wander through a market at Barkor Circuit where you will be surrounded by prostrating pilgrims. It’s definitely something you won’t forget in a hurry! Enjoy a Tibetan specialty dinner. Visit the Norbulingka Park, it was the site of the Dalai Lamas’ Summer Palace, explore the impressive Sera and Drepung Monasteries and observe interesting debating monks, take a back streets walking tour of Tibetan Quarter and overlook the Lhasa Valley from the hilltop at Pawang Ka. Day 4 Lhasa / Gyantse
Enjoy a scenic drive to one of Tibet’s holy lakes, Yamdrok Lake - a sparkling turquoise lake flanked by snow-capped peaks. On the way, you will see local nomad camps, herds of yak and sheep and beautiful mountains and peaks before arriving Gyantse. (B)

Day 5 Gyantse / Shigatse
Visit to the remarkable architectural masterpiece of Kumbum Stupa with its nine levels rise in the manner of a step pyramid before driving to Shigatse, the seat of the Panchen Lama and 2nd largest city in Tibet. Visit the famous Tashilhunpo Monastery, the highlight of the monastery is the statue of Maitreya Buddha decorated with gold, copper, pearl, amber, coral, diamond and other precious stones with 26.2 meters high. The statue was handcrafted by 900 craftsmen in 9 years. Besides the grand palace and gigantic statues, the Tashilhunpo Monastery also treasures characteristic wall paintings, featuring the variety of shape resplendent colors and exquisite painting. They are the masterpieces of Buddhist art. Also visit the summer palace of the Panchen Lama, also called "The New Palace", covering an area over 500,000 square meters. Enjoy the beauty of mountain views from the palace, explore the city’s thriving Old Quarter.(B)

Day 6 - 7 Shegar / Mt. Everest Camp / Tingri
Today drive to Shiegar , afternoon tour of the Shegar Fort and Monastery. The next day drive over the Pang La (5150m) to view the north face of Everest (8848m), continually drive to the Rongphu Monastery and Mt. Everest Camp, the mountain stands before you, soaring 8848m into the heavens. Stay overnight at Tingri, where you see the tip of Everest and many other snow-capped peaks of the Himalaya. (2B/1L/1D)

Day 8 Tingri / Zhangmu
Drive across the rolling plains of the Tibetan Plateau to reach the Lalong La Pass, and then head down the spectacular Sun Kosi gorge to the Chinese / Nepal border town of Zhangmu where you will spend one night. (B/L/D)

Day 9 Zhangmu / Kathmandu
Drive you to the entry point of Nepal, our guide will assist you to go through the customs. Another English Speaking guide will meet you on the Nepal side of Nepal/Tibet border, transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. (B)

Day 10 Kathmandu
Today sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple – the most sacred of Hindu temple in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, built in 1696, Boudhanath Stupa – the world’s Largest stupa, famous for its painted eyes on all four cardinal points, Swayambhunath temple – the oldest Buddhist shrine, look east from here, overlook the entire Kathmandu Valley, afternoon visit World Heritage listed former Royal Palace and Durbar Square in Patan and medieval town of Bhaktapur. Day 11 Depart Kathmandu
Your overland tour from Lhasa to Kathmandu ends with a hotel / airport transfer. (B)
